A Best Friend, hungry and cute. Chu Chu is Anthy's devoted friend, not pet! He's a cute and cuddly... monkey! What else? Although Chu Chu's got big ears hearing is not his strong point, but he can smell a plate of curry a mile away!

Chu Chu appears off and on throughout the entire Utena Saga. In the Manga he appears mostly in the side story's, and loves to pop up and annoy Saionji whenever he gets a chance. In the Movie, well, truth be told Chu Chu only appeared in the movie once for a split second, take the challenge and see if you can spot him. As for the TV Series, Chu Chu is an active member of Utena and Anthy's family. He appears in multiple episodes and still harasses Saionji in order to protect Anthy.

Throughout the TV series we get to see him eat more cakes and curry, and get in odd situations. Chu Chu's mysteries in the TV series are basically... What is Chu Chu? How old is he? Is it a girl or a boy? These questions are never really answered, but we can have fun guessing.
